Skate Spot was an app created while in school. There are many people who love to skate. They could be hockey players, figure skaters, families and friends.
Having an app to help them locate various indoor or outdoor rinks would simplify their day. The app would offer them information about each rink such as, hours, their website, indoor or outdoor and how busy they are. The included features are a map, a list of rinks and a list of favourites.
The goal of this app was to keep it simple for all users to easily access the app. Young children might want to find a location to go skating with friends or family.
Having minimal features keeps the app clean and useful. This app is made for skaters so everything relates to skating. All helpful and necessary features were added.
